| Visa |
| Students coming to KAIST as exchange students or visiting students have to acquire a student visa. To apply for a visa, you have to submit the following documents to the closest Korean Embassy or Consulate. |
- Passport
- Certificate of Admission from KAIST
- Application from the embassy or consulate
- Recent bank statements |
| Depending on the Korean embassy in your home country, you may be required to submit more documents than those listed above. If in doubt, please contact the KAIST International Relations Office |

| Alien Registration Card |
All international students remaining in Daejeon over 90 days must obtain an alien registration card from the Daejeon Immigration Office (Tel:+82-42-254-8811~3). An alien registration card costs 10,000 won for all paperwork.
- Required documents: 3 passport-size photos, application form, and your passport |
