| KAIST digital science library was established in 1971 as KAIS library, and it went through a merge and separation process with KIST library. Through education and research, it is contributing to korean society by leading advancement in science and innovation in technology. To accomplish its mission of cultivation of talents with originality and application abilities, it merged with KIT in March of 1990. To increase the comfort of users, a contemporary 5 story building was constructed as the main library, and it is being operated with an annex library, effectively providing the most current information in the areas of science and technology. The library uses the American LC Classification Schedule, and by using the complete shelf system, library users are able to seek information themselves. |
