Operation

Majority of KAIST students are living in labs and dormitory and as such in order to maintain order and safety, the campus police system was introduced since November 1996.

Main Duties

Patrol school grounds to maintain safety and order, prevention of fire and robbery, prevent trespassing, traffic control, emergency services and other duties instructed by school Director

Status Quo

Number of officers : 9 (Day shift 3 officers, night shift 3 officers)

Method of operation : 2 persons for 3 shifts
