Fees & Payments Payment
_Residents in on-campus housing have to pay dormitory fees for each semester (for 6-month or 5.5-month period).
There is also certain period for payment, normally several days after the results of balloting are announced. If payment is not made within the given period, additional fees of 10,000 won (if payment is made within 15 days from the payment deadline) or 20,000 won (if payment is made within the maximum one month after the end of the payment period) may be charged. If payment is not made within one month from the end of the payment period, residents may be asked to leave the dormitory.
Students are required to pay the deposit fee of 100,000 KRW (won) once for maintaining the rooms’ furniture. This fee will be refunded when students graduate or move out of their dormitories.
_Residents in the apartments in Gung-dong must pay the fees to Woori Bank on the campus with their monthly-issued bills.
_How to pay for the university housing fee:
There are many ways to transfer money to the school account as payment for your dorm -- via internet banking (recommended), money transfer at bank or ATM, pay at post-office.
_Master's and doctorial course students:
Transfer money to Woori Bank account number 025-310617-13-011, Recipient: 한국과학기술원
_Undergraduate students:
Send money to Post Office account number 312512-01-001566, Recipient: 한국과학기술원
Specify your name and student ID when making the transfer. If your student ID is 20081234 and name is “Hong Kil Dong,” type in “81234Hong Kil Dong” as the sender.
