Our research covers SoC design, VLSI circuits, on-chip interconnection networks, 3D graphics

To meet the growing demand for a deeper understanding and more efficient utilization of multimedia data which includes speech, audio, text, image, graphics and video, the multimedia processing lab has been formed. Employing various signal processing techniques, research is conducted to study the interaction among various media, and their interaction with human, network, and storage. All fields associated with the processing and perception of multimedia stand to benefit greatly from the continued research.

RF Systems Solution (RFSS) Laboratory was founded in 2004. Our research field includes Hybrid and Integrated RF System, Minimized Antenna/Intenna/Rectenna system. With Prof. Jong Won Yu, 1 students in Ph.D course and 4 students in master's course are studying on these areas.

The Electromagnetic Wave laboratory is aimed at the development of a new knowledge base that allows analytic solutions to electromagnetic problems. Our research activities cover a wide range of electromagnetics and microwave engineering. We are mainly interested in the study of electromagnetic scattering, diffraction, and radiation problems

In 1998, High Speed Nanoelectronics Laboratory (HSNL), led by professor kyounghoon yang, was established in the Nano Devices and Integrated System Group within the Department of EECS. Our current research areas are Nano/Tera Hz device, 3D-MMIC/IEIC, Multi-functional IC and SOC design.
